Energising Smoothie

I love this smoothie! Not only is it easy, but you can make in advance and keep it in the freezer ready to go whenever you need it.

Make smoothie bags ahead and keep in the freezer. Then it's super quick to prepare a drink by adding liquid when you're ready!

Ingredients

 1 handful of frozen berries
 1 ripe banana, chopped
 1 tbsp flaxseed
 1 tbsp oats
 few drops of vanilla extract
 1 tsp maca powder (optional but a great wellbeing boost)
 100 ml water
 100 ml milk of your choice
 freezer bags

Directions

Open freezer bag/s ready

Add all ingredients except milk and seal bag. Freeze until ready to drink

When ready for a smoothie

Remove smoothie bag from freezer, add milk and blend until smooth with a food processor or hand held processor
